Great Saw

I bought this saw to ride around in the side by side, the quality of this saw is impressive for the cost. I went over everything before starting it found nothing loose and the saw starts and runs great. Impressed that no tuning was needed out of the box. Great job NeoTec

This is one badass saw

This is one badass saw. I've cut trees up to 3' dia. This saw can run and cut all day long. The chain is super sharp. I cut down 27 trees ranging in size from 3" to 3'. Hell, if it goes bad tomorrow it has paid for itself 10 times over. GREAT saw

Cuts like a stihl and looks like one too

It starts runs cuts and idles perfectly no tuning. My dad has a stihl that looks and made pretty much spot on. This one cuts just as good as his. So far very happy bought it as a trail saw for riding sxs.

Starts easily cuts well

I have a Stihl MS 290 and 261 with 20” bars for big jobs. However, I learned years ago that having a relatively inexpensive 14” saw for limbing and trees up to 10” in diameter was a great choice. 1) they are light and 2) chains are relatively inexpensive. I used Poulan 14” saws for years but they don’t make them anymore in 14”. I tried this Neotec 14”. Started easily, ran great. No primer bulb. Used 40:1 premix. So far I have gone through 2 tanks of fuel and have been very pleased. Used on soft woods cedar, pine and hardwood like locust. I do keep the chain sharp. Dull chains are a bummer on any saw.

Great trail saw

It's a quality lightweight saw. When you're carrying it, PPE, fuel/oil/tools, and FAK down the trail, every pound matters.

FAQS

Cold Start
  1. Add fuel (fuel mixing ratio: 25:1).
  2. Close the choke. If the machine is equipped with a primer bulb, press it 3–5 times until the bulb is filled with fuel.
  3. Pull the starter rope 3–5 times.
  4. After hearing two “coughing” sounds,
  5. Open the choke.
  6. Pull the starter rope to start the machine.
Hot Start
  1. Open the choke.
  2. Pull the starter rope to start the machine.

The issue may be caused by an incorrect fuel mixture, spark plug problems, or a clogged carburetor.

  1. Check whether the fuel mixing ratio is 25:1. If not, adjust the fuel mixture to 25:1.
  2. Check whether the fuel line is bent or blocked.
  3. Check whether the spark plug is sparking properly.
  4. Check whether the engine is flooded.
  5. Check whether there is a carburetor malfunction.
  1. Confirm whether the spark plug is producing a spark: Remove the spark plug, connect it to the ignition coil, and place the spark plug electrode in contact with a metal part of the machine. Pull the starter rope and observe whether the spark plug produces a spark during starting.
  2. Check the electrode gap. The correct gap is 0.5–0.7 mm (approximately the thickness of a credit card).
  3. Clean oil residue and debris from the surface of the spark plug.
  4. If the engine still does not start after completing the above steps, replace the spark plug with a new one.
  5. Check whether the high-voltage wire (ignition coil lead) is damaged.
  1. Remove the spark plug.
  2. Turn the machine upside down.
  3. Pull the starter rope.
  4. Drain the excess fuel from the cylinder.
  1. Remove the air filter.
  2. Use an air blower to remove dust or debris from the air filter.
  3. If it cannot be cleaned or has been used for a long time, replace the air filter.
