Well made and powerful saw that is everything you would expect it to be. Big, heavy, thirsty, and it eats trees like a cartoon beaver. I ordered mine with both a 28" and 36" bar. I wouldn't recommend the 28" bar unless you have a specific need for that. It bounces off of the rev limiter in hard wood unless you have the entire bar buried and under a really hard pull with the 28" bar. The 36" bar is a much better match for the torque or this saw. I've felled some big trees with it so far and my only complaint is that the oiler doesn't put out enough oil for a 36" bar in a tough cut even at its maximum setting. You have to be careful not to overheat the bar with the lower than should be oil supply. Otherwise, this is a beast of a saw and it has a ton of power. Nice tool kit, very good English manual. Keep it up Neo-tec.
One other complaint isn't about the saw but about the Amazon ad for this saw. I tried to post a legitimate positive review on Amazon and my review is not made public while there are three very blatantly fake reviews for it on there and they make this saw and company look fraudulent when I feel they are legitimate. They should take that seriously if they want to be a contender in this market. I'm very happy with my saw and think they have a good chance to be very big in the market if they get rid of the fake reviews and stick with genuine ones.
Very well packaged and shipped. Nice tool kit and very decent readable manual. Ordered with a 28" bar and a 36" bar. To be honest the 28" bar is a little bit too small for most work with this saw. Unless you have it completely buried and pulling hard it bounces off of the rev limiter with the 28" bar. It does make very good power. And it all seems really well made and actually tuned almost perfectly out of the box. It starts easily and it bites hard with the chain it ships with. I would definitely recommend this to others who need a saw for big trees. It is both heavy and thirsty, you'll feed it a lot of fuel and bar oil. But it goes through big logs with ease as it should. Its the best buy on a big bore saw I have found. Highly recommended.

Got my 8120 followed the startup procedure locking the chain brake. Started right up but the chain brake would not unlock. After trying to fix it myself I contacted customer support, sent them a pic and they shipped one the next day free of charge. Cuts like butter now. At first I was just going to buy one ($50) but the shipping was $110. Anyway it’s a nice saw so far.Great customer service!
Got my saw and followed startup by locking the chain brake. Never was able to unlock it. Contacted support and after sending a pic they are sending me a new side plate. Wonderful support service. If ordered the part was $50 but shipping was over $100! Very satisfied with neotech.

Saw is light for size and packed with power. 36 inch bar burried in oak it bounces off the rev limmiter. Saw was easy to assemble. Only issue i have had so far was the bar studs not all the way installed bit that was easy fix.

Cold Start
- Add fuel (fuel mixing ratio: 25:1).
- Close the choke. If the machine is equipped with a primer bulb, press it 3–5 times until the bulb is filled with fuel.
- Pull the starter rope 3–5 times.
- After hearing two “coughing” sounds,
- Open the choke.
- Pull the starter rope to start the machine.
Hot Start
- Open the choke.
- Pull the starter rope to start the machine.
The issue may be caused by an incorrect fuel mixture, spark plug problems, or a clogged carburetor.
- Check whether the fuel mixing ratio is 25:1. If not, adjust the fuel mixture to 25:1.
- Check whether the fuel line is bent or blocked.
- Check whether the spark plug is sparking properly.
- Check whether the engine is flooded.
- Check whether there is a carburetor malfunction.
- Confirm whether the spark plug is producing a spark: Remove the spark plug, connect it to the ignition coil, and place the spark plug electrode in contact with a metal part of the machine. Pull the starter rope and observe whether the spark plug produces a spark during starting.
- Check the electrode gap. The correct gap is 0.5–0.7 mm (approximately the thickness of a credit card).
- Clean oil residue and debris from the surface of the spark plug.
- If the engine still does not start after completing the above steps, replace the spark plug with a new one.
- Check whether the high-voltage wire (ignition coil lead) is damaged.
- Remove the spark plug.
- Turn the machine upside down.
- Pull the starter rope.
- Drain the excess fuel from the cylinder.
- Remove the air filter.
- Use an air blower to remove dust or debris from the air filter.
- If it cannot be cleaned or has been used for a long time, replace the air filter.
