Amazing chainsaw for the price!

I have had this saw for 2.5 years. It starts very easily. It cuts pine, oak, hickory or any other wood like butter. Saw has plenty of power and dependable! It cuts as good as other brands that cost 700-800 dollars to purchase!

Love it!

It rips! First start took 10 pulls. But after that will start in 2-3 from cold.. Once running, shut off, start again first pull every time. Powerful, loud, and almost no vibration! Sure drinks the gas fast

Practical saw

Lanyard point should be either centered or on left side of the saw as most climbers are right handed. Saw started from cold and dry on the fourth pull... Primed bulb, pulled on full choke three times and off choke once. Runs like a scalded dog. I've been a climber for over 14 years and will say this is comparable to Echo or Husqvarna... Stihl still beats it for balance and weight but for the price it can't be beat. I will give it 4 out of 5 stars. Wish it used less different fasteners and I recommend tightening everything prior to use. 25:1 ratio isn't that hard to figure out folks, especially if you are used to 2 cycle equipment. Can't wait to climb with it. Good on the manufacturer for making a saw at this quality and price point. I ordered the 20" saw so we shall see...
O.K., I have used this saw to remove a 40ft. palm tree from a back yard over a shed... Saw ran flawlessly, idled well, I recommend setting the lock when on your hip. I noticed that I had to refuel about 2/3 way chunking the trunk (12-14") but not unusual... Could have a larger gas tank... I also would give the oiling adjustment a better indicator as it tends to oil less on softer materials, but overall I would give this saw a 4-1/2 out of five stars as the next closest saw (Echo) cost three times as much. It never bogged down or acted in any way like it couldn't handle the chore so I'm a believer... We shall see what the 20" saw does on Friday when it arrives...

Seems legit

Impressed with the build quality right out of box. Came with emergency tool kit, should have all in it you'd ever need in the field. Came with little gas can with measurements to properly mix gas and little funnel. Seems very sturdy, of course its not the fastest thing, but for price point i couldn't be more pleased. Started and ran fine for me on 2nd pull. Very happy would def recommend

Great saw!

What a great saw. I have cut 4 full cords eazy. The saw does have lots of plastic so makes me wonder on how long it will last. I can at least tell you this, if you need a saw on the cheap this will do the job. It has plenty of power.

Dang good saw for the money

This saw is great runs really good you will have to adjust the carburetor right out of the box it was running really rich the only complaint I have is the hole for your saw lanyard could be bigger this saw is a budget saw so not as top notch as far as Husqvarna or steel but but still a dang good climbing saw for the money

Great saw

I bought this saw for trail maintenance. It’s wicked light and cuts awesome. Great little inexpensive saw. I figured if something breaks I’ll just replace it because of the cost is so low. I did have to make a couple adjustments to the carb for optimal performance.

Nice saw for the money.

Saw is nice and strong. A bit noise but it don’t matter. One thing to look out for is the double oil ratio per gallon. It’s not a 50-1 saw so you will need a separate gas can just for it. Out side of that. Runs and cuts good.

Are you kidding me!

Best saw I’ve Owned. Packaged extremely nice, comes with all tools needed. Mine cranked up after a handful of pulls and need no adjustments or tuning. Very loud little hot rod. Cuts like butter and the oiler works fabulous. I may buy another to have a smaller one .

FAQS

Cold Start
  1. Add fuel (fuel mixing ratio: 25:1).
  2. Close the choke. If the machine is equipped with a primer bulb, press it 3–5 times until the bulb is filled with fuel.
  3. Pull the starter rope 3–5 times.
  4. After hearing two “coughing” sounds,
  5. Open the choke.
  6. Pull the starter rope to start the machine.
Hot Start
  1. Open the choke.
  2. Pull the starter rope to start the machine.

The issue may be caused by an incorrect fuel mixture, spark plug problems, or a clogged carburetor.

  1. Check whether the fuel mixing ratio is 25:1. If not, adjust the fuel mixture to 25:1.
  2. Check whether the fuel line is bent or blocked.
  3. Check whether the spark plug is sparking properly.
  4. Check whether the engine is flooded.
  5. Check whether there is a carburetor malfunction.
  1. Confirm whether the spark plug is producing a spark: Remove the spark plug, connect it to the ignition coil, and place the spark plug electrode in contact with a metal part of the machine. Pull the starter rope and observe whether the spark plug produces a spark during starting.
  2. Check the electrode gap. The correct gap is 0.5–0.7 mm (approximately the thickness of a credit card).
  3. Clean oil residue and debris from the surface of the spark plug.
  4. If the engine still does not start after completing the above steps, replace the spark plug with a new one.
  5. Check whether the high-voltage wire (ignition coil lead) is damaged.
  1. Remove the spark plug.
  2. Turn the machine upside down.
  3. Pull the starter rope.
  4. Drain the excess fuel from the cylinder.
  1. Remove the air filter.
  2. Use an air blower to remove dust or debris from the air filter.
  3. If it cannot be cleaned or has been used for a long time, replace the air filter.
