This saw has been impressive in both power and reliability. After a fight to get it started initially, it's now my most reliable starting saw over 55cc. A few pulls gets it going, it won't flood like my others. The power is remarkable for it's size, this thing absolutely rips. It keeps getting stronger and easier to start as it breaks in. The oil pump is really strong, I turned it down for this 24" bar and it still slings. It came with a full wrap handle that was kinda a surprise.

This is a classic firewood saw, a little heavy, but incredibly capable and tough. My only complaint is the small tank and air filter requires frequent service.

This saw turned out to be much better than I had ever expected. It has a full wrap handle bar which is not shown in pics. At first there was a bar oil leak from the inner chain guide due to a casting bulge which pushed it away from being flush. A little tweak in the guide plate and problem solved. I cut up a 22" White Ash tree with ease. My initial break in utilizes 3 heat cycles of 10 minutes run time and then a full cool down. It is not mentioned for break in but works very well for 2 stroke engines. On the 3rd session the idle came up so much I had to turn it down. It has always fired right up using the same procedure as for Stihl saws. I noted that this is a MS038 Magnum clone and not the 380 as the name implies. This is a great saw so don't be afraid to get one.

Good for the price. Don’t like the gas and oil caps, seem to leak slightly, will be replacing them with higher quality ones. Overall good value. Was hard to start on occasion, too much compression/vapor lock/flooded but seems to be starting/running great lately.

This saw is a copy of the old 038 Mag which was a tank. You do need to be mechanically inclined and take the saw apart before use. The cylinders often need some grinding to remove flash and reduce squish (mine was at .060"). The other issue is leaking oil, which I believe is because the oil pump gasket is too hard and doesn't seal well. The saw does oil my 25" bar very well. I'm sure it could handle a 32".
After some minor port work, this keeps up with the 462 no problem. Little heavier, but feels more solid, and costs $1300 less...

I don't leave a lot of feedback... I probably should. But I just spent half a day with this saw for the very first time since I ordered it 2 months ago, and it needs to be said... I am THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED! I've used a bunch of saws in my time. This one is right up there with the best of them. This thing might as well carry a Stihl badge. I got the 24" bar to take down a 38" diameter oak tree. It ripped through the oak like a hot knife through butter with plenty of power. There is nothing better in my mind than a saw that starts on the first pull, and this one does it every time. I'm so happy with this saw I might just buy another one. Thank you Farmmac for making an outstanding piece of equipment! I can't speak to the longevity yet but I feel as though it will do just fine. I'll come back and update if anything changes. But so far I absolutely love it

I ordered a chainsaw chain set as a replacement for the original chains. Pack of three chains, individually wrapped. The semi chisel chain is sharp and fits my tool just right and does its job. The low price is what prompted me to try these chainsaw chains. Then, I knew these saw chains were a great choice. Worth to buy!

For the 2 weeks i have been running this saw its like this FarmMac saw is the real deal. Neotec/FarmMac seem like they are truly a step above the other "clones" out there. I did alot of research on buying a decent inexpensive saw. I found Neotec and learned FarmMac is their professional series brand. I found them to be good quality machines for the money. I chose this F380 and have been running it since January 5th 2023. I'm now on my 10th tank of fuel and it fires up on the 4th pull and sometimes it will fire up on the 1st pull if I ran it the day prior. I had to adjust the carb some out of the box but it was pretty well set when i got it. I'm running the Echo Armor 2 stroke oil with 93 octane non-ethanol fuel and it seems to run very well on it. As of now I'm am happy with the purchase! Already looking into buy the F660V

I’m a trail builder and I maintain 5 acres of my own woods and the saw has been great! Certainly better than the 42 cc saw I was using, this, Farmmac has great power, easy set up, and a nice tool kit. The only negative so far has been the mediocre instructions, which is typical for cheaper import stuff, but it was not too bad to figure out. Overall, I’ve been very happy!

Just got mine today. Started in 2 cranks. Great looking and performing saw. Way better then I thought it was going to be. Very pleased. Even came with a nice full wrap handle bar too.

I grew up cutting firewood and ran nothing but stihl saws. And decided to try this one and I'm very impressed by how much power it has and it performs great. Just had to fine tune the carb is all. Iv cut about 10 cord with it so far and no problems.

Starts easy and is built well. Love the bottom plate. Not a cheap made product. Thank you

I've only used the saw once and I'm still breaking it in using extra oil and the Carb hasn't been tuned for maximum power. Even still, this thing is a BEAST... I ran it through 20 inch birch and 22 inch Ash with no problems. It's not a light saw but bigger saws are, well.. heavy. 20 pounds means you may want something smaller for the little stuff but if you want something bigger and badder than a home owners saw, you're going to need some muscle to use it all day. It's extremely well made for the price. I plan on running it hard after it's broken in and I have no doubt it'll be able to take it. They make a 92 cc beast as well. Based on what I've experienced with the F380W, I have no idea why you need the extra power.. Keep in mind, I haven't even had the carb fine tuned yet, it's still running rich for break in. I can't imagine what this thing is going to be able to do in a couple of weeks.. I've used all kinds of saws, if you need something that balances big power with manageable heft, this is a great pick for the money.

This saw was just the right one for the job.
Is had plenty of power and made cutting big trees very easy and fast. I'm looking forward to my next project. I would recommend this saw to anyone.

This is a great saw very powerful. Surprisingly easy to start. I did have an issue with the bar, but the customer service was great they resolved my issue at no charge.

Great power for any tree cutting job. For the money involved it can't be compared to the other popular brand saw. I was so impressed by my first 380 I bought another for my son and his 11acre land purchase. I own several saws for many years and I feel confident these saws will do the job. .only downfall ot could use a compression release but once started the crank up easy.

The quality of this saw is great, not much different between this one and STHL brand. Runs like a champ and cut myself some nice firewood for the winter.

Honestly one of the best chainsaws I've ever used, runs great and cuts great, what more could a man want from his chainsaw.

This is a great saw. Has a front adjust chain tensioner which is harder to use, but doesn't have the same problems that some of the 660 clones have (you won't have to replace it). Also, the oiler works great.

Cons: it leaks oil, it's heavy for a 72cc saw, etc. These are complaints I'd also be making about a real 380 mag anyway so I'm not going to knock them for copying the source material too well.

This thing is a beast. Did a lot of research on these and this one seems like the best. Only run it a short time but I am impressed.

This FarmMac m380 saw is a powerhouse. At least that is the case after you succeed in getting it started. It takes me at least 30 high energy pills with choke before it sparks, then another three on run before it starts. I have no clue as to longevity expectations as I am still in breakin term. But I know the seller is responsive and the saw has oomph.
