Only issues is the gas does leak a little over time while storing from the cap. Besides that works as it should.

I was Leary of buying a Chinese saw up until now. Did a muffler mod and deleted the decompression valve after 1 tank of gas and boy did this saw come alive with a little tuning. I’m 6’1” 270 lbs running a 25” full comp full chisel chain in ash logs and It’s a lot of work to run this saw unless it’s dogged in otherwise it’s got too much torque for bucking logs under 20”. That being said It’s a beast!

Only reason not a five star review is that the saw didn’t come with instructions to assemble it out of the box. As an Excavation business that enjoys stream/pond restoration and management we have used Stihl and Husqvarna chainsaws, cut off saws, cutquik, cut-n-break, concrete cut, power cutter and other tools we’re very hesitant to give this saw a chance. But after we assembled it and it fired within the first 10 poles and ran will we where vey surprised. For the price point, we believe it’s very well worth it and a fraction of the price of the other saws. We’ve only ran 23 tanks through it as of this post, but hopefully she’ll run a long time.

I would have like to try this saw but Neotech sent me the wrong one. The saw I got was priced $150 less that that one I ordered. So not impressed. But...I messaged 2 Strokin' Chainsaw and Small Engine via Facebook Messenger. He is going to help me get a refund for the difference.

I assembled the saw I did received and it fired right up. So far so good.

Saw runs great. Quite a bit more grunt than my 461. Some tuning was required as expected, fouled a plug during break in. Swapped the plug with a Bosch and away it went.
I broke the pawls on the starter assembly around the 10th tank. I replaced the decomp valve with the plug right out of the box. Compression on startup likely led to pawl failure. I plan to upgrade the assembly and go from there. All in all I'm impressed, feels and runs very similarly to a stock 660.
Bought the saw to use for milling/firewood. Will likely be my go to in order to save the life of my oem 261 461 combo.

I am giving this product 5 stars because of the performance at a value. The owners manual is lacking in the assembly area. But with general mechanical knowledge you should be able to figure out the assembly. One thing that was difficult and risky on the assembly and inspection of the powerhead was the removal of the spark plug. The spark plug was torqued very tight or may have had thread lock on it. I first attempted to remove with supplied plug tool and did not want to damage the threads or plug, so I applied heat to the cylinder head and used a six point deep socket to remove plug. I inspected the combustion chamber and it was clean. Gapped the plug in accordance with the manual. The saw cranked on the first pull, mostly because I gave it a small squirt of starting fluid. I have used the saw to chainsaw mill two 12 foot by 18 inch logs with no issues other than normal chain sharpening. Good Value! for me.

Great saw

The value of this machine is good but the documentation is terrible. You can tell the documentation was done with google translate, or something similar. It is a beefy chainsaw and has a lot of horse power. As others have mentioned it does have a lot of compression, but that is to be expected with a big saw.

I have yet to receive any of these clone saws that are 100% ready to put in the wood. This saw needed some work. But, I must say these saws do run and make good solid power out of the box. Words of wisdom; inspect your saw well. Ensure all things that need clearance to operate properly have the clearance needed or you will burn stuff up Neo-Tec will work with you. Brake your saw in and use good t2 oil, and maybe a little squirt in the cylinder to start just to make sure that the rings and cylinder wear in right.
Learn to tune the saw and keep it away from being any kind of lean till fully broke in. Learn to read your plugs for the kind of cutting your doing a bucking tune is different from a milling tune.

I've been doin tree work for over 23 years now and used about every saw out there and so far this saw seems to be one of the better ones - it's got the power and the torque and can't beat the price

You get more saw for the money it’s not a every day working saw but works and performs well I had a 30 inch round tree I had to take down and it’s paid for itself with that one job. Though I’m not crazy about overseas products, but everything cost so much money nowadays. you have to do what you have to do

Like the saw gas cap leaks constantly in the middle of cap . Contacted sellers blew me off. Had to go buy one. Glad wasn't something big.

This thing starts right up and has plenty of power. It slices right through trees like butter. Compared to the name brands that cost twice as much, this machine is a no brainer.

Would have been better if I didn’t have to troubleshoot the poorly assembled spark plug wire that wouldn’t seat on the plug.

This chainsaw is amazing and very powerful, when I wield it I feel like Heman! I bought it with the 36” bar which is great because I don’t have to bend over as much while using it to cut logs. It has been a great saw so far. I plan to cut a LOT of logs up to sell for firewood. I also plan to use it to mill some lumber.

Seems to pull pretty strong - Had to adjust the carb of course, but dropped and bucked a 24" oak in 25 minutes. I got this for my chainsaw mill since I didn't have a saw that could pull a 36". Once I mod some chains, pretty sure this will be fine.

PLEASE READ, this is a great saw. comes with all the tools and accessories you need plus an 8 and 7 tooth clutch. like everyone else said, the chain tensioner is not the greatest, easy and cheap fix though. that being said, the one thing to watch out for, and I cannot stress this enough, is the poor quality gasket that sits between the exhaust and cylinder. I was on my 2nd day of use with the saw, after breaking it in, and was milling some nice alder, when the whole muffler rattled loose. I didn't think much of it, all I had to do was take the exhaust cover off and tighten the 2 bolts in the muffler that were just a little loose, no big deal. I Start the saw back up, runs for a good 30 minutes then dies on me. It let's off smoke and the plastic above the cylinder head was super hot to the touch. no matter what I tried it wouldn't start back up. well, I take the whole exhaust off to examine the piston, and behold, only half of the gasket remained, while the other half worked its way into the cylinder, where it tore the piston and cylinder up really bad and basically welded the piston rings onto the piston. I examined the gasket and its a perforated metal that is very brittle and seems to fall apart when it gets hot. I am going to chalk this up to user error which is why I left the 4 star review. this isn't something to blame the manufacturer for since i should have been more vigilant about inspecting the exhaust after it came loose. I just hope others read this and don't make the same mistake.
I got lucky in this matter because when I originally received the saw, the outside of the cylinder had damage to it. it took me a week or so to notice it because the damage was hiding behind the muffler. I contacted customer service about the matter and they are sending me a new cylinder. If it wasn't for that, I would be out the whole cylinder and piston. which again, is a cheap fix. besides those small issues, it's a great saw with tons of power. easy to work on and tons of great options for upgrading parts. even if you buy one of these and then upgrade the more crucial parts to all stihl oem, you'd still be paying substantially less than if you bought the stihl version of the saw.
update:
after getting the new puaton and cylinder, I cleaned up out the crankcase and made sure there were no particles of any kind in there, unfortunately it burnt out the piston within 10 minutes. I'm assuming there's something bigger wrong with the saw and it wasn't the exhaust gasket that caused the first burnout. I'm passed my return date so I'm emailing with the company now about getting this figured out. as of now I'm extremely frustrated. a saw with less than 10 hours of light work has bow burnt out 2 pistons and cylinders. will update with a solution when I get one

The chainsaw cut through large trees with no difficulty. A good saw for the money.
